Je’anie grew up in Connecticut and is a graduate of Springfield College and Southern CT State University, where she studied criminal justice and human services. She has always been drawn to helping those in need, advocating for those without a voice, and working with others to find their own voice. After retiring from a career in the Department of Corrections in CT, she moved to Anderson, SC with her family for new opportunities. When she’s not working, she enjoys a cozy campfire, cooking and family!
