Theresa completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University in 2011. After volunteering for several years in youth ministry she decided to go back to school and attended George W. Truett Seminary graduating with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry. During her time in Seminary, she was active with the local youth ministry. She did two units of Clinical Pastoral Education in Springfield Oregon and completed Chaplain Residency at Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania. As a Chaplain, Theresa enjoys spending her time providing a compassionate presence, reflective listening, and sacred space. An Oregon Native, Theresa enjoys exploring South Carolina and meeting new people.

What do you love about your job?
Theresa enjoys being a chaplain because she loves people and feels that her time listening to people be their authentic selves is both sacred and beautiful. As a chaplain, Theresa continues to be inspired and humbled by witnessing the strength and brilliance of the human spirit.
