Kayla received her B.A. in Psychology from Limestone College and her M.A. in clinical mental health counseling from Montreat College. She has been trained in both EMDR and TF-CBT treatment modalities. Kayla is First Light’s completely virtual counselor working from her home in McCormick! She loves spending her free time with her children, camping, hiking, traveling, and going to the lake.

What do you love about your job?
What I love most about my job is EVERYTHING! I get to be a part of the client's journey in healing, loving themselves, and finding their voice and strength again. I get to help them find and implement the tools they need to overcome challenges and live a fulfilled life.
