Internships

At Foothills Alliance we want to create an environment that creates an opportunity for learning, growth and skill development during an internship with us. We have opportunities in the following areas: Human Resources, Marketing, Business Management, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Counseling, and Law Enforcement.

Our agency has variety of opportunities that will provide students with real-world experience before finishing school and transitioning into the workforce.

What We Are Looking For:

• Be empathetic, non-judgmental and a good listener

• Pass a SLED check and reference check before beginning internship

• Excellent written and verbal skills, as well as, a compassionate and professional disposition

• Excellent organizational skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office Publisher, and Word

• Flexibility to participate in occasional after hours functions. (hours will count toward internship)

• Self-Starter– must to be highly self-motivated and able to accomplish assigned tasks with assistance from the Foothills Alliance staff

• Team Player– Expected to collaborate with other members of the Foothills Alliance staff and will need to be comfortable filling various roles. You will need to be able to listen, receive input from others, and assert your ideas and critiques in a team environment.

• Honesty and Integrity – many of the services that we provide are confidential and it is important that the intern is able to maintain and respect confidentiality
